Who we are
Care2Learn is built and run by its founders, Mitch and Tala. It is deliberately a small operation: the people who answer your email are the people who run the platform, which is why support replies come within 24 hours, 7 days a week, and why things that are wrong get fixed rather than ticketed.
We built Care2Learn because mandatory training in social care is too often treated as a box to tick — slides nobody reads, certificates nobody could stand behind. Every course here is written for real shifts in care homes, supported living and domiciliary care, and priced so that a small provider can afford to train properly.
The company
How the courses are written
- Against named UK guidance. Each course is written to the current published guidance for its subject — the specific sources (NICE, Skills for Care, Resuscitation Council UK, the regulators and others) are named inside the course itself, not vaguely gestured at.
- For all three nations we serve. England, Scotland and Wales differ in regulators, law and standards, so courses carry separate editions — a Scottish learner reads about the Care Inspectorate and the SSSC, not the CQC. (We don't yet cover Northern Ireland.)
- Checked on every release. An automated checker runs over the whole catalogue before anything is published: it verifies nation-specific wording, catches duplicated assessment questions, checks reading contrast, and fails the release if anything is wrong.
- Dated in the open. Every course page shows when its content last changed, so you can see at a glance how current it is.
How content is kept current
When guidance changes — or when anyone points out an error — we correct the course, the change is dated on its page, and where the change matters clinically we re-record the narration rather than leave it contradicting the text. Corrections take priority over new features: training that is wrong is worse than no training.
